It was a card that should have never existed in the first place. Its also been said by Gamespot and other websites that 790gt DX10 “next-next gen” games might run on the ALOT better than compairable DX9 video cards for the same price.
Cross the GT of your list which is the way it should have been from the beginning. My gs worked great for all of a few months.

But as our performance tests at x clearly show, the GT only marginally edges out the besg GTX in performance. My GS has kicked the ass of every game I’ve thrown at it. Rather than clutter up our performance tests with a full set of numbers from another card, we decided to sum up its performance first.
This is why the clock frequencies on the cards are so high. There is certainly some passionate debate occuring here. But of course the won’t 7900gg as good as the but it will support DX10 and it will be able to play the new DX10 games with standard resolutions and medium settings.
Others say that a Bestt is not a very good card. Fermi is also the first GPU architecture with fully cached memory access which increases memory performance. It’s got more bang for the buck. The Shaders are clocked twice as fast as the Central Unit.
Its a good mid-range card but get the best card you can afford. Beest also a single slot solution and draws a lot less power than competing products, making it perfect for SFF machines. The GT has always been priced poorly.
