I have one inch threaded horns they swear they’ve never threaded. These days, they certainly keep track of everything in databases but years ago, things were different. Again if it were me that’s the direction I would look at, don’t worry I’m not going after them I have too many projects now! We’re working on some lit but don’t hold your breath.

Nate mentioned that they are discontinued, unfortunate that McCauley doesn’t keep info on their old stuff available online. He is a McCauley dealer.
I don’t think he follows this forum but he does follow the LAB and has a thread in the Product Reviews for a sub shootout. I do have one personal contact who may remember such a cabinet, I’ll ping him on Monday morning.

McCauley R Diaphragm – Speaker Exchange
Hello While I’m not familiar with the McCauley boxs but hear are some general thoughts on reloading and refurbishing cabinets. Andy Kulhavy Newbie Offline Posts: If original drivers are not to be found and or out of the question I would make them a three way active box.

Ok guys, some new info. The crossover was previously removed, and they’re wired with EP8s for active tri-amp. Y’mean nobody in PEW-allup can find anything in writing on that one?
He brought some super McCauley wedges to “wedgefest”. I doubt if you’ll have any luck contacting McCauley for information, I have an old wedge that almost nobody there remembers. I have not contacted them directly as there don’t seem to be any email addresses on their site.

With a little driver research and a good three way drive system I’m sure these would be good usable boxes. Anybody have an opinion or info on them, I haven’t had any luck searching the web. The passive crossover most likely had some eq compensation as well for the specific impedance curves of the original 10’s and the 2 inch driver, matching that up with other drivers would take a little work.
First, here’s the McCauley contact page: Will it be worthwhile for me to pick these up mccaulye a project, and find drivers for them? The two 10″ drivers are not 65520 from the 15″, and the box is ported.
Well, if you don’t want them Andy With the 2 inch driver there are many to choose from, finding out the original impedance of the 2 inch will be necessary if you plan to keep the passive crossover.
